The Briefing-cum-Dialogue Session with JPJ: Road Transport (Construction and Use) (Dangerous Goods Vehicle) Rules 2015 was organized by the CICM Safe Road Committee and held virtually on March 23, 2021. Close to 100 participants joined the session.

Updates on the implementation of the Road Transport (Construction and Use) (Dangerous Goods Vehicle) Rules 2015 were presented by En Azzaharin b Allias, Principal Assistant Director, Automotive Engineering Division, JPJ. Participants of the even also fielded many questions to JPJ during the Q&A session. JPJ also proposed that as a path forward; to establish an informal Working Group between JPJ and CICM and also develop a technical guidance to facilitate the implementation / compliance by the chemical industry to the Rules 2015.
