Briefing Session on Implementation of Reflector Installation for Vehicles Carrying Dangerous Goods – April 11, 2019

Close to 50 CICM members and their transporters were briefed by Encik Muhammad Firdhaus Ibrahim, Assistant Director of Automotive Engineering Division of RTD pertaining to the implementation of reflector installation (based on MS 828: 2011) for commercial vehicles carrying dangerous goods with BDM more than 3 500 kg. This requirement will be implemented in two stages; starting July 1, 2019 for new and imported used vehicles and January 1, 2020 for existing registered vehicles.
