Membership to CICM falls under 3 categories, viz:

• ORDINARY MEMBERS - Companies with chemical manufacturing facility in Malaysia
  
  
• ASSOCIATE MEMBERS - Companies engaged in trading, consultancy, providing services in the chemical industry in Malaysia
  
  
• HONORARY MEMBERS - Chairman of the Association of the different sectors of the chemical industry (namely agrochemicals, cosmetics and toiletries, fertilizers and pesticides, industrial gas, oleochemicals, paints, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, soap and detergents, etc.)
