The Chemical Industries Council of Malaysia (CICM) is led by the CICM Executive Committee (EXCO), comprising the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer, EXCO Members and Honorary Members.

Sub-committees and working groups have also been established to support the CICM EXCO to address issues of concern and interest of the chemical industry. These sub-committees / working groups are:

• CICM Responsible Care Committee
• CICM Regulatory Affairs Committee
• CICM Working Group on RCP for SMIs
• CICM Working Group on Safe Transportation of Chemicals  

The CICM EXCO and its sub-committees are supported by the CICM Secretariat which is headed by En Sorbi Ahmad, CICM General Manager. Two advisors in the areas of Responsible Care and also Regulatory Affairs and Trade have also been appointed to support the overall operations of CICM.
